Hi fellow parents! I’m Andy, founder of Learning Voyage Education Centre and a proud recipient of Masters of Science (MSc) Mathematics for Educators from National Institute of Education (NIE).

Most parents in the Kovan/Hougang area know me as the “Borderline To Distinction” O Level & A Level Maths Expert who was recently awarded ‘Best In Maths Foundation Training’ (Voted By Parents) by Parents’ World Magazine!

Over the past 10 years, I have personally coached more than 500 students and helped previously borderline scorers use a disciplined approach to shoot up to A1/A2s (and at the same time develop a love for Maths)… even if they were scoring E8s and F9s!

Parents have been approaching me…asking me about the ‘secret formula’ that their children can apply immediately to score better for their O, A, E, H1, H2, JC Level Maths exams… Introducing to you the ‘Plug-the-Gaps’ Technique!

A Mathematics-centric educational centre helmed by Mr Andy Woo, who believes that students from all backgrounds should be given adequate and quality educational support.

Learning Voyage is highly recommended to any child who is struggling with Math. My boy grew to love Math after attending Mr Woo's lessons. Mr Woo is a very patient tutor who helps to clarify any doubt your child may have in Math. His explanation is very clear & he also make an effort to check with his students if they have any difficulty in solving the math questions in class. Through Mr Woo's dedication, my boy achieved a distinction in his Math paper for O levels exams. All thanks to Mr Woo.

I had attended class at learning voyage for 6 years (Secondary school and JC) and had been taught by both Mr Andy and Mr Kelvin. Both tutors are very patients and provides clear explanations on the concepts. I was eventually able to get A1 for both E and A Math for O level and also an A in H2 Math for A level. The class size was also small which allowed me to asked more questions and clarify my doubts. When exams are approaching, there was additional revision questions given to us to expose us to the different types of questions that may come out in exam. Definitely would recommend this place for those looking for math tuition!!

The tutor Kelvin is really friendly and caring! With his guidance, I managed to improve from a C in J1 Promos to an A for A Levels. He stays back after class to answer our questions and also encourages us to message him on Whatsapp if we have any questions outside of tuition hours.

A lvl tutor Mr Kelvin is a very capable teacher with great understanding of the A lvl math syllabus. He is very gentle and patient in his teachings, while still being thorough throughout. He also helps clarify any doubts, be it in person or through text. The Learning Voyage teaching method is very flexible, offering a more personalized tutoring, where you practice more on chapters you are weaker in, while still occasionally going through questions which are more challenging, in a class based setting. Overall a very well rounded tuition, which I would highly recommend.

Friendly and approachable are the most important things that I look for when finding a good tuitor. I can't say for others but I know that there are at least a few people like me who struggle with asking questions that we deem as "silly". I found that these sort of questions usually stem from my lack of understanding of foundation concepts and having a tutor that can really help me open up about my issues without fear of being belittled, even after multiple failures to understand. My tutor, Mr Kevin, is everythig I hoped for in one single package. Skilled at what he does, a quirky personality and most of all, patient and approachable. There were so many occassions where I asked him the same questions because I had forgotten and he would always laugh it off and answer without scolding me. Some students require a stricter kind of teacher and I understand but Kelvin's attitude and encouragement really motivated me to get into a subject I hated. Without his help, I would've never been able to jump from a U to a B for my A levels.

Mr Kevin is a very patient teacher and will teach you in detail so don’t be afraid to ask questions whenever you are in doubt! With his help I was able to improve my H2 Mathematics from a border line grade and even score a B during A levels!

mr woo is a very patient and understanding teacher who cares for his students’ well-being. his ways of teaching are comprehensive and helped me to go from a D7 in sec 2 math to an A1 in o level emath, and a B3 in amath 🙂

Mr Woo is very patient tutor. He is dedicated to his teaching and he makes learning math much better than it seems. He will be more than willing to help you if you have any questions. I used to hate math but after his lessons, math was actually not too bad. I would definitely recommend Mr Woo to anyone who is currently struggling in math. 👍
